Ian Johnston named Realtor of the Year by Association of Regina Realtors

Long-time Regina Realtor Ian Johnston has been named the 2016 Realtor of the Year by the Association of Regina Realtors (ARR).

Sponsored by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp., the award recognizes an ARR member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to both the real estate industry and the community at large.

Born in New Glasgow, N.S. Johnston learned the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community at a young age, says the ARR.  He carried this philanthropy with him to Saskatchewan.

Over the years, he has been president, vice president, treasurer and secretary for both local and provincial real estate associations, as well as serving in leadership roles in his various community organizations and charities.

“It is not what my community can do for me but what I can do for my community,” says Johnston, a sales rep with Century 21 Dome Realty.

“Ian has a big heart, which shows in his contributions toward the real estate industry and the community that he lives, works and plays in. Always putting others first, I am happy to see that he is being recognized for his selfless efforts,” says ARR president Jason Cossette.
