Bill Johnston of Coldwell Banker Pinnacle Real Estate in Thornhill, Ont. has been awarded the Morguard Literary Award for practicing Realtors, by the Real Estate Institute of Canada. Johnston won the award for a paper entitled Negotiation for Real Estate Professionals: Getting the Contract with Sellers and Buyers. This is the second time Johnston has won this award – in 1998 he successfully submitted a paper about disclosure. Educational seminars based on both of Johnston's winning papers have been approved for mandatory continuing education credits in Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
