REM (Real Estate Magazine) is Canada’s independent news source for real estate professionals. We cover the news, analysis and commentary that agents and brokers cannot find anywhere else, including the regulatory decisions, legal cases and industry stories that affect how they run their businesses.
REM is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with any real estate association, brand, or board. We do work with sponsors, and anything we run with them is clearly marked as sponsored, so you’ll always know the difference.
Founded in 1989 by Heino Molls and Jim Adair, REM grew into the primary source of industry news for Canadian real estate. Following the retirement of Heino in 2018 and Jim in April 2022, REM was sold. Andrew Fogliato, owner of Just Sell Homes, bought the publication to continue its legacy and relaunched it on September 6, 2022 with Jordana Springgay as editor.
