Jeff King has left Greater Vancouver Realtors (GVR), the organization has confirmed.
GVR said its chief corporate development officer, Craig Munn, will serve as interim CEO while the organization searches for a permanent successor.
“With his deep knowledge of the organization, extensive leadership experience, and strong reputation in the industry, Craig is well-positioned to lead us through this transition,” GVR said in a statement provided to REM.
GVR declined to provide additional details surrounding King’s departure.
King was named CEO of GVR in the fall of 2021.
He joined the real estate sector after establishing a career in the music industry. Before joining GVR, he had most recently served as chief operating officer of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).
Between 2020 and 2021, King also served as interim CEO of Dataclef, a back-office service provider to music rights organizations.
GVR said its operations remain unchanged during the leadership transition and that members can expect the same services and support from the organization.
REM reached out to King for comment.
