Royal LePage Wildrose Real Estate in Olds, Alta. recently raised more than $42,000 in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation via their second annual ‘Radiothon.’
The event was hosted by local station 96.5 CKFM, All Hit Country. All proceeds were directed to the Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society to help construct a building and expand their services to women and families seeking safety from domestic violence.
Over the past two years, this event has raised more than $80,000 for the cause and considerable local awareness surrounding violence against women.
“Watching the fundraising barometer rise over the course of our big day was truly thrilling,” says Royal LePage Wildrose Real Estate owner/manager Clare Dickie. “Once again, our community has shown us their deeply generous and heartfelt support.”
