For over 20 years, local realtors with The Lakelands Association of Realtors have donated to provide families in their communities with a meal during the holiday season.
This year, the need for support has increased due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic and rising grocery prices.
In celebration of Realtors Care Week, the association launched their turkey challenge, which encourages members to contribute $25 donations that are exchanged for grocery vouchers and placed in Christmas hampers by local charities.
This year, 1,488 families in the community will be able to enjoy a festive holiday meal thanks to the generosity of its members and brokerages involved.
The association would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all of its members and brokerages for their support, as well as the local charities that will carry out the contributions.
