Royal LePage Gardiner Realty in Fredericton, New Brunswick, hosted their annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event recently. More than 90 men donned red high heels and walked a full mile along a downtown route to raise funds and awareness for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation and Fredericton’s Women In Transition House.
“This year’s walk was a resounding success with a great time had by all,” says organizer and Royal LePage Gardiner Realty broker/owner Lincoln Thompson. “We are very proud of the $21,550 raised in support of women and children escaping violence and rebuilding their lives.”
