Century 21 United Realty in Peterborough, Ont. is the new major sponsor for the Peterborough Lakers lacrosse team.
“We’ve always given back to the community and have done it in many different ways,” says broker Carl Oake. “This is a way to do it in a big way.”
The brokerage has drafted a three-year commitment as major sponsor.
Century 21 United Realty is locally known as a strong supporter of their community. For 29 years, the office’s signature fundraiser, The Carl Oake Swimathon, has raised donations for Easter Seals children living with disabilities. The office’s annual Christmas Toy Drive has provided more than 10,000 toys for children in need since 1990.
