Eleven years ago at the age of 27, Stephen Chow opened Century 21 Atria Realty in Toronto. Now his office has 260 sales reps at three locations. Chow’s firm was named Century 21’s 2015 Franchisee of the Year recently.
The award considers all aspects of a Century 21 franchisee’s business practices, including industry and community involvement and sales success.
“Thanks to all my Realtors, staff and our clients for supporting Atria all these years. Without you guys, I would have never won this award. Best day of my career!” says Chow.
Chow’s industry peers recently elected him vice president of the Century 21 Brokers’ Association of Ontario, Metropolitan Toronto Area. As well as impacting the local real estate market, he is also an active member of the Asian American Real Estate Association (AREAA).
“It has been inspiring to watch Stephen’s vision for Century 21 Atria Realty come to life. From day one, he had a success story in the making,” said Brian Rushton, executive vice president, Century 21 Canada. “He shows us all the business power of supporting your team, industry and community.”
Chow’s dedication to local families living with disabilities was inspired after meeting an Easter Seals Youth Ambassador at the Century 21 Canada Conference in 2011. His office has since raised tens of thousands of dollars for the organization, and Chow was one of the first recipients of the Century 21 Golden Heart Award in 2015 for his personal contribution to the Easter Seals Kids to Camp program.
