Coldwell Banker launches mobile-first CB Exchange platform

Coldwell Banker Real Estate recently released CB Exchange, a mobile-first intranet for the company’s sales associates. CB Exchange provides convenient access to the brand’s content, tools and applications from a desktop computer, mobile phone or tablet.

“It is vital in today’s connected landscape to have access to the content you need and want instantaneously, which is why CB Exchange was designed as a mobile-first experience and will completely overhaul the concept of a traditional corporate intranet,” says Sean Blankenship, chief marketing officer for the company. “Our platform knows who is accessing it, their role within their company and what information the user wants to receive. It makes finding content and information from our brand as easy as searching for something on Google, wherever and whenever it may be needed.”

Designed to function like the most frequently used sites and mobile apps, the platform organizes all content by themes called Tags, grouping information and content into buckets such as Brand News, Selling and Marketing Materials. That content is organized into customizable, social-style feeds with information relevant to each user’s role, the company says.

Features include:

  • Users can modify their home page based on the resource tools and information most important to them, helping them find the content they need faster.
  • Springboard serves as the app’s central hub, allowing users to customize their home page with links to the tools and applications that help drive their business.
  • News Feeds organize content that is most relevant to each user. This includes My Feed, which uses Tags to build a personalized stream of information, and Exchange Feed, which contains all content shared on the platform.
  • A central dashboard features a snapshot of personal statistics and data from coldwellbanker.com based on each user’s role in their company.
  • Users enter the question, “What are you searching for?” into a search bar to find what they need. This function also allows users to watch a video or preview a presentation before having to download it.
