Engel & Völkers holds grand opening event in Mont-Tremblant

Engel & Völkers officially launched its brokerage in Mont-Tremblant, Que. at a grand opening celebration in the heart of the pedestrian village recently. The event was attended by more than 200 guests.

The grand opening began with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America, who was joined by Patrice Malo, president and CEO of Station Mont Tremblant and Steven Lafave, a Playground Tremblant veteran and now the managing director of the new Engel & Völkers Tremblant.

“The grand opening of Engel & Völkers Tremblant celebrates a valuable addition to our North American network, as the new shop is situated in an ideal location to expand our footprint in the region and to meet the needs of our clients who enjoy the active outdoor living the market has to offer,” says Hitt.

The brokerage is an alliance between Engel & Völkers and Playground Tremblant, a resort real estate brokerage firm and subsidiary of Intrawest, a resort and adventure company and owner of Station Mont-Tremblant Resort.

“Mont-Tremblant is known for its skiing but it’s a year-round destination for its autumn colours in fall and the lakeside beaches during the summer,” says Lafave. “Its accessibility by air with flights by Air Canada and Porter as well as its proximity to Montreal makes it a popular destination, but the biggest draw among our international residents and visitors is the European culture and spirited lifestyle.”
