Members of the Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association (KLREA), with the help of the public and local service clubs, raised about $14,000 in a recent “sponsor a stud” campaign for the first Habitat for Humanity build in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
The KLREA was recognized by Habitat for its community spirit.
Michael Jancsik, chair of the Community Realtor Events Committee, says the association is now organizing a local Realtors Build Day to take place in the fall.
