The Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors (KWAR) recently presented $14,000 to Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region (HFHWR).
The donation came as a result of HFHWR’s successful grant application to the Realtors Care Foundation.
Since 1999, the foundation has given more than $2 million in grants to eligible organizations.
“We’re proud of the work our foundation does and we are pleased to support HFHWR, who is building affordable homes for hardworking families by providing a hand up, not a hand out,” says Mark Wolle, KWAR president.
