The Mississauga Real Estate Board is now offering life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage to its members. All active members of the board were automatically enrolled in these insurance programs on September 1. The insurance is included in the annual membership fee with no additional cost.
“MREB has worked diligently to actively seek out opportunities to enhance its value proposition and provide the best tools and value-added services to its members,” says the board in a news release. “The new member insurance program provides comprehensive insurance coverage designed to protect against life’s unexpected events.”
The board partnered with Desjardins to provide the coverage.
The new member benefit insurance includes life insurance coverage for up to $30,000 and accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage up to $60,000.
In partnership with Rexall Pharmacies, MREB members and their families can also get exclusive savings on prescription medication through Rexall ValueScripts at no extra cost.
“The inclusion of this new membership benefit is a critical step for the Mississauga Real Estate Board, as it continues to evolve and innovate its member benefit products, with the goal of expanding its resources for real estate agents,” says the board.
