RCREB raises $35,000 for charity

The Renfrew County Real Estate Board (RCREB) raised close to $35,000 at their 18th annual Charity Golf Tournament in Pembroke, Ont.

Proceeds have been split between four local charities. The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation received $10,000 to expand their chemotherapy and medical day-care units; Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Renfrew County received $8157.84 to continue supporting various programs; The Robbie Dean Family Counseling Centre received $8157.84 to continue its mental health program; Watch my Six Service Dogs also received $8157.84 to help fund the training service dogs.

Through its annual golf tournament, the Renfrew County Real Estate Board has raised more than $272,000 for various charities.

In 2023, the board hopes to surpass $300,000 in total funds raised.
