Re/Max Nova, one of Atlantic Canada’s most recognized brokerages, is marking its 40th anniversary this year.

Founded in 1983 by Ron Hollett, Clair Dent, and Stan Smith, the brokerage established itself as a trusted name in real estate.

Ron Hollett, the company’s first owner, attributes the brokerage’s success to his belief that “You don’t build a business, you build people. Then people build the business.”

This philosophy, along with Hollett’s extensive training and his commitment to his agents’ success, has made him a respected leader in the industry.

In 2020, Re/Max Nova was purchased by Craig Snow, Nassim Klayme, and Ryan Hartlen, and under their leadership, the company has experienced record-breaking growth.

As one of their first initiatives, the new owners invested in a commercial building to serve as the home and flagship for their agents in Dartmouth, N.S., on Akerley Boulevard, and more recently, they purchased the Bedford Farmers Market building to serve as their new Halifax office.

The company has offices throughout Halifax and surrounding areas, including Sackville Drive, Windsor/Hants County, and its newest location in Bedford.

Re/Max NOVA prides itself on its culture and values and is committed to continued staff and agent development in a warm and friendly environment.

As the company celebrates its 40th anniversary, it remains dedicated to its core values of passion, hard work, and providing exceptional service to its clients.

The new owners have big plans for the brokerage, with a focus on expansion.
