Royal LePage Access Real Estate in Salmon Arm, B.C., recently raised more than $5,600 via its annual ‘Garage Sale for Shelter’. This brings the brokerage’s total raised for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation to $88,000 since 2012.
“We couldn’t be more proud of our community and all who were involved in the efforts leading up to and during the big day,” said Trena Beer, owner/administrator of Royal LePage Access Real Estate. “Our annual garage sale is no small undertaking and relies on the generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, donors and shoppers. It absolutely fills our hearts to see everyone’s hard work result in such an amazing total that will change the lives of so many in our community for the better.”
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation donated one hundred per cent of proceeds raised to the Shuswap Area Family Emergency Society, an organization that provides safe, non-judgmental services to those experiencing intimate partner violence or other forms of abuse for over 40 years.
