Commercial real estate veteran Scott Chandler has joined Colliers International as senior vice president, advisory and investment sales, based in Toronto.
With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate in Canada, Chandler most recently served as president and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, after previously leading its national valuation and advisory group.
“Scott will focus on growing Colliers’ advisory capabilities while augmenting our capital markets underwriting and sales teams,” says Scott Addison, president, brokerage services, Colliers International Canada. “His reputation, depth of experience and strategic business savvy add to Colliers’ already strong lineup of commercial real estate professionals.”
Chandler’s real estate experience also includes his tenure at Scotia Capital, where he led real property advisory and underwriting services, culminating in the team’s sale of Scotia Plaza at King and Bay streets in Toronto for $1.3 billion. It was the largest single-asset sale in Canadian commercial real estate history.
He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he previously sat on the board of the GTA chapter. He currently sits on the Real Estate and Housing Advisory Board for the University of Guelph.
