The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) is rolling out a new AI-powered tool for its 68,000 members.
Ardi—short for Artificial Reasoning and Decision Intelligence—is designed to provide 24/7 assistance on topics such as association rules, member benefits and industry-related inquiries.
Designed to be an additional resource for TRREB members
According to TRREB, the AI-powered system will operate across multiple platforms, including SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and voice communication, and will be available in 25 languages.
TRREB describes Ardi as a tool intended to complement the efforts of its staff by handling a wide range of inquiries. In a statement, TRREB CEO John DiMichele said, “By leveraging Ardi’s AI-driven capabilities, our team will have real-time access to critical information, improving response times and ensuring consistency in the support we offer.”
Rollout plans
The rollout will begin with an internal launch at TRREB to allow staff to familiarize themselves with the system and help refine its knowledge base. TRREB expects to make Ardi available to Members by the summer.
TRREB Associate CEO Kevin Crigger said that adopting tools like Ardi is part of the Board’s efforts to modernize its services. “This tool will allow our team to spend less time searching for answers and more time focusing on delivering value to our Members,” he said.
The virtual assistant was developed by VoiceFlip, a company specializing in AI-driven customer service solutions. The company says Ardi is designed to handle high call volumes, provide multilingual support and adapt to new information.
