A long-serving member and past president of the Southern Georgian Bay Association of Realtors, Wayne Cornfield was recently honoured for his outstanding volunteer service and commitment to the association.
Earlier this year, SGBAR donated $1,000 to the fellowship program of the Ontario Realtors Care Foundation on behalf of Cornfield, who has served on more than 20 committees, spent five years on the Board of Directors and had an 18-month term as president.
Members of the program “are committed to improving the quality of life in Ontario communities by supporting growth that encourages economic vitality, working to provide the opportunity to have a home and building communities.”
Since its inception, the foundation has granted more than $3 million to shelter-based organizations across the province.
