Realtor.ca has introduced two new features for property listings in Saskatchewan. Updates include the addition of a publicly displayed “conditional sale” status and enhanced search fields to provide more detailed information about property locations, according to a press release from the Saskatchewan Realtors Association (SRA).

Conditional sale status now displayed
Saskatchewan listings on Realtor.ca will now show a “conditional sale” status when an offer has been accepted but the sale has not yet been finalized. Previously, listings remained active on the site until a sale was firm.
“Saskatchewan’s housing market has been experiencing record demand for the past 18 months, and our members are very aware of how difficult it can be for prospective buyers right now,” said SRA CEO Chris Guerette. “There’s nothing worse than finding your dream home, only to discover it has been conditionally sold despite showing an active status online.”
Improved search options
In addition to the conditional sale feature, Realtor.ca has also enhanced its search functionality. Listings now include more specific location details, such as the municipality and the name of nearby lakes.
The SRA says this update is particularly helpful for buyers searching for lakefront properties or rural homes, as it allows for more targeted searches. A new location description field has also been added for rural properties, making it easier to locate acreages.
According to the press release, “These changes help increase property visibility and help buyers find what they’re looking for.”
