Four Ontario real estate boards have created Look4Homes, an application that provides up-to-the-minute information about properties listed through the boards’ MLS system.

The Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington, the Brantford Regional Real Estate Association, Niagara Association of Realtors and the Simcoe and District Real Estate Board share MLS technology and are known as the STARRS group – Shared Technology and Regional Realtors Services. Home buyers using the Look4Homes app are able to search for properties in the market areas of all four partnering associations.

Home buyers can:

* View properties with interactive map and search using GPS location-based technology.

* Search for properties using all the “usual” search criteria, such as price range and number of beds and baths.

* Easily see all property details including multiple photos, price, property details and descriptions.

* Save properties for easy review later, or share them via text, email, Facebook or Twitter.

* Flag properties as favourites and automatically send them to the Realtors they are working with.

Buyers can also communicate directly with the Realtor via Look4Homes and receive personalized information directly from the agent.

The app is available in the App Store (for Apple products) and Google Play Store (for Android devices). A mobile browser version of Look4Homes (for Blackberry and other devices) is also available at https://look4homes.starrs.ca/
