What message does this send? Does it tell us that you can be a full-time paramedic and pursue a successful real estate career at ease, or that medicine and real estate are a good mix for individuals who have lots of natural drive, and energy and are in good health?

You are favourably connecting with persons who are of the mindset that “half measures may avail us everything”. In my work life, I have always been self-employed and always give my designated career 100 per cent of my energy and time. I take my career in real estate seriously. At times I am annoyed at those who choose to pursue opportunity in real estate but because of other commitments of employment are not always accessible to network, communicate, correspond or to be hands-on to deal with everyday situations that arise.

I wish to congratulate the gentleman in your cover story for his energy and the expressed effort and belief in his community. I also take issue with real estate brokers across the continent who encourage part-timers to participate in their formula of “we’re so glad to have you.”
