In the article about the London and St. Thomas Real Estate Board’s IDX system (REM, November), a quote of mine was taken out of context. It was, “The IDX doesn’t depend upon mls.ca…” This statement was made in response to a question put to me as follows: “So, does your IDX solution get its data from mls.ca?” to which I responded as per the foregoing quote.
My concern is any negativity that this statement would imply. I would not want anyone to infer from my statement that I would ever negate the value behind mls.ca.
It is our continued goal to maintain the excellent co-operative working relationship that we have enjoyed thus far with the Canadian Real Estate Association.
