Is there really a problem here?

Are you trying to create a controversy where none exists?

What benefit is there to the vendor if there is any delay whatsoever in providing the widest possible marketing coverage to every listing?  Indeed, ways should be sought to speed up the process.  Once a vendor has decided to sell a property, it is the agent’s job to provide immediate broad exposure.

I don’t think many vendors are worried about buyer agents, they just want to sell their house and attempting to introduce barriers is not the way to go.

Look how slow newspapers appear to be in disseminating information into the marketplace.  Lead times of five to seven days to put an ad in a real estate section are unacceptably long in today’s competitive environment.  Newspapers and print in general are less important now in marketing properties because of this fact.  Vendors want action and they are paying to get it.  The best and most successful agents understand this.

Is there really a problem here?
