Global luxury real estate brand Engel & Völkers opened its newest office, Engel & Völkers Cambridge Galt. This will be the 21st location in Ontario.
This location will serve the Waterloo region, including Cambridge, Kitchener, North Dumfries, Waterloo, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich, under the joint leadership of license partners Dennis Mehravar and Emma Yu. Together, they bring over 30 years of real estate experience.
“Cambridge is a fast-growing market in close proximity to major metropolitan cities and with several established industries, including manufacturing, technology, healthcare and education. These contribute to a stable job market and, in turn, positively affect the real estate market,” says Anthony Hitt, president and CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas.
Buyers will mostly come from local areas — Cambridge and its surrounding regions, which are growing with plenty of new condominium developments.
Mehravar notes, “Cambridge has idyllic scenery with a quaint city feel. It offers a reasonable commute to the Greater Toronto Area and is close to Waterloo’s growing tech region, making it an ideal location for young professionals and families. People are drawn to Cambridge because of its proximity to The Grand River and the city’s character, charm and history.”
