Colourful baskets filled with chocolates, candies and stuffed toys are sure to make even a sick child smile. With that in mind, volunteers from Sutton – Premier Realty in Surrey, B.C. recently assembled and delivered 30 Easter baskets to the Surrey Memorial Hospital. The treats were given out to patients on the pediatric ward and their siblings at Ronald McDonald House.
“It’s amazing how many people I know who have personally benefited from the great services Ronald McDonald House provides to families,” says Realtor Rob Christensen. “It was a very rewarding feeling to shop for the candy and put together the Easter baskets.”
Sutton – Premier Realty also contributes to the Surrey Food Bank and a local school and sponsors several local families in need through the Surrey Christmas Bureau. To fundraise for their charitable projects, broker Larry Anderson, Realtors and staff hold events throughout the year including a comedy show and poker nights. On May 24 they will host an ’80s themed bowling night at the Sandcastle Bowl Bar & Grill. Tickets are $25, which includes two hours of bowling, a burger, fries and a drink. To join in the fun, please purchase tickets from the Sutton – Premier Realty office at 15483 – 104 Avenue, Surrey.
