Regan Irish & Associates is marking the 10th anniversary of its annual Kindness Tour, an initiative that supports local charities across Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga throughout the month of February.
The real estate team says the program reflects a decade-long commitment to community involvement and to organizations addressing issues such as food insecurity, housing instability, addiction and mental health.
During February, Regan Irish & Associates will support several local organizations, including Kerr Street Ministries, Meals on Wheels, local food banks and Armagh House. The Kindness Tour involves donations, volunteer efforts and awareness-building aimed at strengthening community-based services in the Halton and Peel regions.
“There is an urgent need for support in our communities around issues like home and food insecurity, addiction and mental health,” said Alex Irish, CEO of Regan Irish & Associates. “Over the past 10 years, we’ve assisted where we can, knowing that these incredible local organizations are the real headline. There is strength in numbers, and we’re immensely proud to be a part of that collective community effort.”
The team also acknowledged past donors who supported Support House, a local organization assisting people experiencing homelessness. Previous fundraising efforts helped the organization purchase an outreach van, which is now used to deliver services directly to individuals across the Halton region.
Regan Irish & Associates says it hopes the milestone anniversary will encourage others in the community to get involved and support local charities during the winter months.
