I have been using a buyer’s contract for the past three years. This is a custom-designed form as our local boards forms are not buyer friendly. I have always believed in them and unlike Jim McCaughan’s way, I do not get a fee from the buyer. I do, however, get commitments and offer them my exclusive service. It has always worked out, even when they go FSBO.
We need to educate the public and I firmly believe there should be buyer’s agents and seller’s agents, no double-ending. That leads to a money grab by the Realtor and the other parties get nothing in return.
