Last week, Sotheby’s International Realty Canada announced the promotion of Angela Papassotiriou to Director of Brokerage Services for Ontario, effective immediately.

The company notes the announcement marks a pivotal moment in its ongoing expansion across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

About Papassotiriou

Papassotiriou brings more than 30 years of expertise in real estate sales, marketing and brokerage management, including her most recent role as the broker of record for eXp Realty and previous roles as broker at Re/Max Excel Realty, brokerage manager at Royal LePage Real Estate and vice-president, sales & marketing at Re/Max Condos Plus Corp.

She also has volunteer experience in organized real estate and is currently a registrant on over 20 MLS boards, the Ontario Real Estate Association and the Canadian Real Estate Association.

The new role

In this expanded role, Papassotiriou will continue to closely collaborate with Sotheby’s Ontario management team and its executive leadership team to strengthen the company’s service offerings and business operations. 

Aside from continuing to directly support Toronto realtors as managing broker, she will oversee brokerage administration and operations, including managing the Ontario conveyance team, listings team and Toronto office managers. Papassotiriou will also work closely with others to ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations and policies.
