Lynn Drennan dives into Digby Harbour

Lynn Drennan, an agent with Royal LePage Coast & Country Realty in Digby, N.S., dove into Digby Harbour on February 4 to raise funds for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation in support of Juniper House, a local women’s shelter. Drennan has a goal of raising at least $1,000 through her initiative. She is currently about a quarter of the way to the goal.

“Diving into the harbour in winter is similar to the difficult leap many women make to leave abusive relationships,” says Drennan. She understands first-hand the courage it takes to make that “leap” as Drennan herself turned to a shelter 12 years ago after leaving an abusive relationship.
