Sutton-Premier staff in Surrey prepare Christmas baskets.

Baskets overflowing with food and gifts were welcome treats for at least 12 families this holiday season courtesy of the Realtors at Sutton – Premier Realty in Surrey, B.C.  The office once again participated in the Surrey Christmas Bureau’s Adopt-A-Family program.  They raised $3,437  through personal donations and fundraisers such as a silent auction and a Texas Hold’em event.

Two people are required to lift the baskets and boxes loaded with turkey, all the ‘fixings’, chocolates and gifts.  Families receive groceries for three meals on Christmas day although it is estimated that there is enough food to feed some families for a week.  Brian Johnson, a Sutton – Premier Realty Realtor and a Scout leader, recruited the Scouts to help the Fun Team make the deliveries this year.
