Exit Realty Corp. International has made a $500,000 pledge to Habitat for Humanity International. The announcement, made during the company’s annual international convention, brings the company’s total pledges to $3.5 million.
Habitat for Humanity builds and improves homes in partnership with people who are in need of an affordable home. Stable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development and the financial flexibility to make forward-looking choices, the organization says.
A portion of every transaction fee collected by Exit Realty is pledged to Habitat. In 2016, the company announced its Habitat for Humanity Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Program. Canadian Exit associates can work with their local Habitat office to raise funds for a specific project or initiative and submit a proposal to Exit Realty Corp. International for those funds to be matched dollar-for-dollar from the company’s pledged Habitat for Humanity funds.
