The London and St. Thomas Real Estate Board’s first ever London Housing Industry Networking Conference & Lender Trade Show will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
The conference will feature:
- A CREA open house.
- Anthony Passerelli, senior market analyst, giving CMHC’s Fall Housing Forecast and insights into the demographics of the region.
- An expert panel made up of Anthony Passerelli; Jed Chinneck, Chinneck Law Professional Corporation; Joe Kireta, president of the Appraisal Institute of Canada; and Tom Weber, Alder Creek Inspections and Consulting. They will discuss what impact the new mortgage regulations imposed by the federal government will have on the markets.
- Keynote presentation by Mike Moffatt, assistant professor in the Business, Economics and Public Group at the Richard Ivey School of Business, on the ever-changing landscape of the Canadian real estate industry.
- Networking, lender exhibitors and more.
The event, at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn in London, begins at 8 am and is free for Realtors and board staff members and $25 for non-Realtors. Breakfast and lunch is included.
