Cushman & Wakefield recently announced that David Bergeron has joined the firm as managing director of the Toronto West office. He will lead the Toronto West team and work the GTA management team on building strong partnerships with clients and partners, says the company.
“David is a great collaborator and he has a real passion for commercial real estate,” says Michael Caplice, GTA market leader for C&W. “His experience in the suburban markets – covering all asset classes – will benefit our growing client list as he brings his experience to this role.”
Bergeron was most recently the senior director, asset management for GWL Realty Advisors, where he oversaw the leasing and property management of a seven million sq. ft. industrial and retail portfolio in the GTA West market.
A strong supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Bergeron created an annual event to support the organization. Reel n ‘Deal (a mix of bass fishing and poker playing) is now in its eighth year and is the MS Society’s largest third-party fundraiser in the country, having raised more than $480,000.
