HomeLife Realty Services B.C. raised $42,000 for Canuck Place.

Rick Dubord, president of HomeLife Realty Services B.C., recently presented $42,000 to Margaret McNeil, CEO of Canuck Place at the 11th Annual HomeLife Charity Golf Classic. Dubord says raising the money “was a tremendous team effort of volunteers, sponsors, Canuck Alumni plus a sold-out field of golfers that contributed to this win for the families that Canuck Place serves.”

Canuck Place provides specialized pediatric palliative care for children living with a life-threatening illness and support for their families throughout British Columbia. The HomeLife Charity Tournament became involved with Canuck Place to support the Fraser Valley Extension. “It’s not just the money that’s important, it’s the awareness of the need for the services provided by Canuck Place,” says Dubord. To meet growing needs, it is building a 10-bed, 30,000-square-foot hospice in Abbotsford.

Since the inception of its annual charity golf tournament (www.homelifegolfclassic.com), HomeLife Realty Services has raised more than $340,000 for children’s’ charities in B.C.
