For the fifth year in a row, Realtors and staff from Sutton Group – ShowPlace Realty in Chilliwack, B.C. participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters “fun-raising” Bowl for Kids Sake Bowl-a-thon.  Events like this were held across Canada to raise money for youth mentoring programs.  This year’s bowl-a-thon coincided with Anti-Bullying (Pink Shirt) Day.

“Realtors and staff wore pink shirts or ties throughout the day to show that we take a stand against bullying,” says Rabia Shafi, administrative assistant at the brokerage. Each bowler was required to collect $50 in pledges in order to participate.  Over the years, Sutton Group – ShowPlace Realty has raised thousands of dollars that have allowed local children to be matched with mentors.
