Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors members support Kiwanis Camp

Recently members of the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors (WECAR) contributed in a large way to a fundraising gala for the Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp in Harrow.

The Kiwanis Club has a rich history of serving the children of Windsor/Essex County. It was established in 1919. Its Point Camp program is a six-night residential program operated throughout the summer for boys and girls aged 7-14.

Members of The Dan Gemus Real Estate Team held a yard sale prior to the gala, raising $9,000 of the total $45,000 in donations generated by the event.

WECAR president Norm Langlois presented $3,500 on behalf of the association.

Other personal donations came from Meghan Boschin and Daniel Inverarity of Deerbrook Realty; Dan Gemus, Sue Reaume and Kathy Talbot of The Dan Gemus Real Estate Team; and Barb Manery, Robert Laba, Angela Laba, John D’Alimonte and Kim Wheeler of Re/Max Preferred Realty.
