The Century 21 Peterborough Lakers, sponsored by Century 21 United Realty, had one of their best seasons and won the 2015 Major Series Lacrosse Championship (MSL) this year. They represented Canada East at the national Mann Cup, losing the series in six games to the Victoria Shamrocks.
“We’re blown away by the talent and achievements of the Peterborough Lakers this year. Peterborough Lakers’ player Shawn Evans had an outstanding year and was named “arguably the best lacrosse player in the world today” by Mike Davies of the Peterborough Examiner. Evans was also MVP of the 2015 World Lacrosse Championships for his help in winning Canada the gold medal, as well as MVP of the 2015 East Coast Championship tournament. He personally holds the National Lacrosse League’s single-season points record with 130 points in 16 games.
