Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has named Mark Paterson regional manager of the firm’s Toronto office.
“Mark has 15 years of real estate and business management experience in Toronto and the proven ability to bring the benefits of the firm’s services to investors,” says senior vice president Gary R. Lucas, who oversees the firm’s Canadian operations.
“As regional manager, he will continue the growth and expansion of the Toronto office, provide leadership and support to our investment professionals and extend the advantages of the Marcus & Millichap platform to clients throughout the region.”
Paterson joined Marcus & Millichap in March 2014 as a senior associate in the Toronto office specializing in retail and mixed-use property sales. Before that, he was a senior sales representative in acquisitions and dispositions with Metropolitan Commercial Realty in Toronto. Paterson also started a real estate technology company that grew to five offices with a staff of more than over 100 people located on more than three continents.
